We've been quite busy lately with personal matters but we've added an underwater camera to our equipment and hope to get to use it at some point soon. We have a dolphin tour we are going on and that should be the perfect opportunity. Wish us luck because I'd love to get some underwater shots to share with everyone.

I revamped the site a bit to include some extra social networking buttons and to add some awards to the testimonials page. It now reads, "Testimonials and Awards." We only have a couple right now but there'll be more to come. I know we may be in a calendar coming up too but we have to wait and see on that.

Did you know that we can have one or more of your photos printed on metallic paper? If you haven't seen photos on metallic paper then you are missing out. We have a portfolio with a few of our favorites and the quality and picture is stunning. We cannot have it done locally so we have them sent out but boy is it worth it. You can read more about metallic paper prints. I wish I could show you what they look like on here but that's kind of impossible. Let's just say they're vivid and the finished product is stunning.

• Bright Colors. If you like to go bold then a colorful shoot with bright hues stand out. Backgrounds may include a field of flowers, colorful chairs on the beach or in a garden.
• Adventure Theme. For the adventurous couple an action shoot is ideal. Whether your hobbies include white water rafting, bicycling or mountain climbing; this photo idea shows individuality and tells everyone who you are as a couple.
• Create Your Own Idea. For the couple that wants to be as unique as their personality, you can create your own idea that showcases your sense of style. If you met while walking your dog, choose a photo shoot that includes your pets. Those that enjoy the beach or countryside may want to choose a location shoot at their favorite area.

The important thing to know about engagement photography is that it's all about you as a couple and your idea should be unique to who you are. Not only will your engagement photos be innovative but they'll be a part of you that you will always remember.
